After School Camp
Does your child need extra help in school subjects/homework? Or Chinese language? This is our
purpose of having the after school program.
The After School Camp at Messiah is designed for students who need extra help in school
homework and school subjects, such as math, reading, writing, language arts, and ESOL in a
Christian environment. We include Bible themes in our curriculum to share God’s love with your
child. We also offer extra help in Chinese language. We want to ensure your child’s solid Chinese
foundation and long-term memory.
Our focus would be to help your child with academic success or prepare him/her for success.
Students practice school subjects and Chinese language on daily basis, so your child can be ready
for the challenge towards success in the future.
Hours & Days
We follow MCPS (Montgomery County Public School) calendar.
Our regular camp hours open from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm (M – F) during school year. We also have
extended schedule for early release day.
Staff Qualification
Michelle Luu is a Christian and an ESOL certified teacher. Her experience includes substitute
teacher for MCPS (5 years), after school teacher (2 years), and Chinese teacher (5 years).
Our staff members have previous teaching experience in school subjects and Chinese language.
They are bilingual in Chinese and English.
Snack
We provide snack and drink at 3:30 pm daily once students arrive.
Fees & Registration
$400 per month (3:30 pm – 6: 30 pm)
Our registration fee is $75 per family and non refundable. For registration enrollment form, please

Outdoor Facility
Our playground is large and fenced in. It is a safe place for your child to explore the outside world
and to have fun of playing with other children.
Pickup Service
Parents are responsible for transportation arrangement. Please contact your child school for school
bus to drop off to our site.

5:00 – 5:30 Bible theme
5:30 – 6:00 math/reading/writing/ ESOL/Chinese or crafts/singing
6:00 – 6:15 playground
6:15 – 6:30 free activity
