Hi Parents
Hi Parents!
We are all waiting for the Groundhog Day prediction to see if Spring is around the corner. In class, we have fun on this day by learning about some history behind the Punxsutawney Groundhog hero; we experiment with shadows and observe weather changes.
We read and discuss many kinds of books in February. The children learn about different genres, author/illustrator, characters, settings in stories, and all kinds of literary terms that will help them grow to appreciate the wonderful world of literature. The children will write and illustrate their own stories, and at the end of the month, they will share their masterpieces with parents at a book reading.
In February, we will also learn about dental health, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and of course, celebrate Valentine’s Day with a class party.
We will be integrating math and phonics all through the month and culminate with alphabet and math review days at the end of the month.
Please know if you ever have a question or concern, you may call the preschool (301.972.5428) or email me (Mrs. Tuel) at mlpstuel@gmail.com and Mrs. Williams at mlpswilliams@gmail.com.

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call..” Acts 2:38-39
